Newbie needs help on AG ground purchase.

Oh, and we ordered ours at the end of February, and the same pool right now is about 500 bucks more. So definitely the winter is a better time to order. Plus the installers are blown out with installs right now and probably would not be able to install your pool until at least mid august, so it...

Newbie needs help on AG ground purchase.

We went to all the local AGP stores and found that the best thing to do is figure out exactly what you want, find a good local installer, and then go and order everything from national pool wholesalers website. We saved a bundle of money and got exactly what we wanted. Ours is all resin...

AGP deck and pool for under 5000

You can see in the first pic on the thread, how much backfill there is. It is a fairly good angle and you can tell how high up the side the backfill comes. We live about 2 miles from a granite quarry, hence all of the granite 57 stone. :-D

AGP deck and pool for under 5000

The slide came off of the kids play set that they never play with and we used the tubing off of the inflatable slide from a couple of summers ago. We are planning an addition to the backside of the slide to create a platform so that it is a little more safe for the kids to climb onto. So far...

    DRON's pump/filter question

Re: New Pool - What to buy? Is it a two speed or single? Usually the bigger pump just means less time running to filter the whole pool. I do not think the bigger pump will hurt the filter.

New Pool - What to buy?

This is before the deck, we are working on getting the fence completed. After that we will start the deck. We have a temporary ladder and a set of wedding cake steps that will be permanent, and attached to the deck when it is built.[attachment=2:3nlteafx]photo 1-1.jpg[/attachment:3nlteafx]...

First time using SWG new pool water should I have to shock

Re: First time using SWG new pool water should I have to sho I think the temp may be the issue, I did not know that would be a problem. The control panel for the aquatrol reads 3100 ppm on the LCD. I added CYA to bring the stabilizer level up to 60-80 ppm, hopefully the water will warm up and...

First time using SWG new pool water should I have to shock

I am totally new to using an SWG, I have the Aquatrol for above ground pools. return jet mounting. Okay, so it has been up and running since Saturday, my salt level is 3100, well within range according to their instructions. Pool water was fairly balanced when it started, however I can't get...

Wait for warm weather to start everything up?

Went ahead and started everything. This was the first time for this pool, added the salt and all of the chemicals to get it going, and put the solar cover on and hope to have some sunny days to get it warmed up to a reasonable temperature!

New Pool - What to buy?

No heater, we live in central Georgia, so not much need for a heater around here:) We were in the process of building a detached garage, with electric running from the panel in our attached garage. So the electrician ran a line down to the pool from a dedicated circuit in the new detached...

Getting Ready for new AG Pool

Hey Billy DIY, I am also new to this site, and have found much needed information here. I have my pool up and installed now, and I am waiting for the water to fill so I can get it up and running. I saw the price you posted and was wondering what type of pool this is, resin or steel ledges...
