    Ok thanks. I would not have guessed that it's not abnormal in a newly constructed pool to have raised pH (I don't really understand why though). So no need to keep adding acid then?

    It's only a couple of months old. I presume plaster then (for some reason I had thought it was concrete but maybe mixing myself up with the driveway material 😂)

    Hi, I'm new here, but have some familiarity with pools from a previous property we lived at.
