can someone tell me how much 78% cal-hypo powder I need to make 1 gallon of 6% bleach? I need to be able to make up gallon jugs of bleach with my cal-hypo I just bought. Got 65# bucket of 78% cal-hypo for $149.00, think I got a great buy.

I believe I found my skimmer model which is a Heritage stand thru-the-wall 12600 skimmer. Now all I need is to find where to buy skimmer basket for it. It seems to be only sold by Walmart, and of course you can't get any specs on skimmer or basket. Would be a get help if someone could PLEASE...

searched high and low for model numbers and model name. Searched internet for a look alike and ordered a basket by measurement and the basket fit but it only aloud water to filter right in the center where pipe connection is and would plug easily. Will try to post picture tonite.

Why not just pour concrete on top of what you have and make it level and put ridgid foam pad on bottom and foam cove and install liner.

Yes I used the wall foam insulation as well as the foam cove and also put foam on bottom and it does seem to really help hold heat thru the night.

Have one silly thought, could I just add more zeobrite to my 100lb sand filter.(only put 50lbs zeobrite in per manufacturers specs.)would it work better or just cause problems. As I said just a silly thought.

I have the hayward s166t sand filter but it needs repairs. Valve needs complete rebuild, center pipe and laterals need replaced(pipe cracked) and should replaced sand (have to remove to replace laterals). Not seeing problem with water per say but I just wanted to know the best route to go...
