    PVC Puzzle - advice requested

Quick update -- I opened the union but was not able to get that thing that looks like a threaded coupling to budge. I used a large pipe wrench and what I think was quite a lot of torque. I was a little afraid of breaking something so I gave up and reassembled. The air bubbles have stopped, so...

    PVC Puzzle - advice requested

Thanks everyone! JasonLion, you're giving me hope that's a threaded coupling. I hadn't noticed that. The left side looks glued so maybe it's only threaded on the right. Not sure why they would have done that, but if it comes apart, that sure makes things easier. I'll have to try that...

    PVC Puzzle - advice requested

    Polaris pressure leak under deck

I'd welcome some advice on my situation on my 20x40' in-ground vinyl pool. We have a ~20-year old Polaris 280 that keeps the pool clean. We've detected a major water leak in the underground pressure line. I had the same line repaired twice about 4 years ago for about $2000. The repair...

    Timer Problem

I have seen that problem on my timer. I am not certain what caused it, but I suspect it was due to using tripper pins that are almost but not exactly the correct size. Did you recently replace or add these trippers?
