We did get the leak stopped...Hubby found a bad crack in the pipe...it was in a joint...did have to knock out a whole in the concrete..but wasn't too hard...I also ordered a new lid for the strainer bucket...I put that on yestereday...everything is working great!!! Thanks for all the help from...

I will mention that to him this evening...he put pressure on the lines yesterday and found 2 leaks...fixed those, things are better but still not right...

Thanks...We have checked all of that and don't see any leaks...but my hubby is going to get all new pipe fittings today and change them out...just to make sure...the pump will pick up then loose pressure...so there is something wrong somewhere...just hope we don't have to break up the concrete :(

We did put a new pump basket lid o-ring...I will give this information to my husband when he gets home from work...we have everything turned off right now and I am not good with electricity :) thanks for the help

Has anyone ever used the "fix a leak" product for your underground pool pipe... We think we have a leak in the skimmer pipe...I was just wondering if it was worth a try before we start digging up the line...

Pump gaskets came today...Hubby put them on and everything back together...the pump is still not picking up...sucking air somewhere...he thinks it is in the swimmer line :(

We got the sand...waiting now for the gaskets to come in...We are replacing all of them since the pump hasn't been used in so long...I am getting excited that everything is coming together
