A new Intelliflo costs at least 2x what I am looking at. I just found out the 3hp version of the pump I want is on backorder. May have to go the 1.5hp route anyway.

I will check that out when I get home this afternoon. Will a 1.5hp VSP be sufficient? I have a Hayward 6020 DE filter system. Two bubblers and no other water features.

Thanks for the help. What is the RS-485 connector? Is that the round black cable coming out of the controller on the top of the motor? I have the correct voltage leaving the breaker. I didn't wand to unhook the wiring on the motor yesterday to check it at the motor itself.

I don't know the actual number for the Chlorine. On my test strips it is dark purple, which correlates to high on the bottle. You can smell chlorine on your hands after dipping them into the water. The kids complain about their eyes stinging pretty quickly.
