Thank you very much. It was a lot of hard work. Amazingly, I think we put in more total hours than the pool builder. Especially when you consider all of the supervising I had to do. :whip:

I know you can get this heat pump for about $3,600 to your door. We negotiated ours into the quote. They say that the BTU's of this is supposed to be 110,000. I don't know just how true that is though. You can look up our model, it is a Rheem 6350TI-E HC.

Hard to tell from that picture, it does look kind of blue/green, but with the water feature it is hard to tell. Does anyone have any pictures to make us feel better? We went from an incredible high today to a very definite low. (not that there's anything wrong with it. "Seinfeld")

Well, we have been having a pool built for the past 2 months. We told the salesman we wanted a blue pool. The interior finish company came today and applied the interior finish (see signature for build). The pool has been filling for about 8 hours now and is up to the shallow end, and the water...

The day is here! Interior guys showed up bright and early. After washing and cleaning the interior, they start. No concrete pump needed just two guys with wheelbarrows. Spreading it around. Rinsing the cream off to expose the quartz. They finished in about 5 hours, then filling began...

Also today, we had a safety inspection from the county, which needed to be done so they could finish the pool and fill it. I have been changing the gates to swing to the outside, moving latches to at least 54 inches high, etc., etc. Now the problem. For 2 weeks the gates would self close...

Congratulations! We are almost at the end of our build, and I can tell you it is exciting the entire time.

Waterfall construction. Waterfall And Stacked Stone waterline. Getting Closer! Should be electrical, set the equipment, final grade, put my fence back together, final inspection and interior finish.

Texture and painting today of the coping! Prepping texture I know it is hard to see, but the texture and color (kahlua cream) look good. :goodjob: Just got word that pavers for the deck are going to be installed middle of next week, hopefully the stacked stone and waterfall go in soon.

Decided to let it go, the one that will be the strongest will be the steps at the shallow end which is the furthest away from the skimmer. The one that should be the weakest is the closest to the skimmer, so hopefully all will be OK.

The concrete decking company came out today to pour the coping around the pool. But first I am showing a ditch that I had to dig by hand in order to plumb the auto leveler into the irrigation water meter instead of the house water meter like the PB would have done. (cheaper water, NOT reclaimed)...
