Got my R-871 refills today, seems the storm has done a number on the chemistry as expected. FC: 10.5 CC: .5 PH: 7.0 (maybe lower) TA: 40 CYA: 10 7000g pool. Pool calc has me adding 53oz of baking soda to raise TA from 40 to 80, will do that which should bring the PH to a safer level...

Been maintaining shock levels (as best as I can, waiting for more R-871 to show). Guessing tonite's SIX AND A HALF inches of rain are going to set me back a bit. Pool and patio became one, ugh.

Just to update, pool is still a cloudy light green. Last night: FC= 20.5 CC= 1 PH= 7.2 TA= 90 CYA= 45 This morning FC= 17.5 CC= 1 PH= 7.2 TA= 90 Pool calculator has me at a Shock Level of 16. I've been at/above verified shock level for days now. Just keep at it?

Added 16oz of cal-hypo (have it laying around, and figured I could use some CYA) Added 16oz of baking soda per calculator to bring up PH and TA into spec.
