    Water Still Cloudy

Ok. Added some more bleach today. (about 3 jugs of 182 oz.) and left for my son's graduation in the morning. Came back two hours later and AT LAST had from FC in the pool. I have been testing every two hours since 10am and its still holding FC. I can see a real improvement in water clarity...

    Water Still Cloudy

Ok here is the million dollar question. How do I get my FC up to 30 without using dichlor bag shock. I am willing to try anything since it does not seem that the dichlor is working anyway. And should I try adjusting my PH now? With all that shock in the pool? I do still have my in-line...

    Water Still Cloudy

The water is cloudy blue. It has improved a bit since about a week ago. The chemical in my shock is 99% Dichlor . It may be adding CYA since I have seen an increase in this test today. And yes, I mean chloramines. Here are my test results: PH: 6.8 (this has been decreasing today) FC: 0.5...

    Water Still Cloudy

I have had my pool open for 5 weeks and still have cloudy water. I have tried everything and it still will not clear. This is the first time I have ever had a problem like this after opening. The pool is clean since I have blind-vacuumed the heck out of it and have ran my robot at least 10...

Gravel In Bottom of Sand Filter

I am swapping out the sand in my sand filter and my pool store person told me that when they install a sand filter, they put a layer of gravel in the bottom of it. We picked the bag of gravel up along with the sand but, I did not see gravel in my filter after I cleaned all the sand out of it...

Cloudy Water -- At my wits end!!

I have had my pool open for 4 weeks already. When we uncovered it, the water was brown (not sure why). Shocked and treated and now the pool water is pretty well balance and not discolored in any way. If it werent cloudy things would be perfect. We have tried shock, floc, Pool First Aid...
