Intermatic LED pool light won't change colors unless I reboot it

Ok signature updated. I do not know what model Hayward light it is. I will have to remove it this weekend. Anyone seen this problem before. I have tried asking Google but haven't found anything.

Intermatic LED pool light won't change colors unless I reboot it

I have the Intermatic PX300 low voltage LED light in my 3 year old pool. Over the winter it started only coming on with the Blue color option. I normally keep it on the multi-color slow-change option. When it is stuck on Blue I cannot change it to another program by using the off-on method...

    Chlorinator problems

Yes, it could be some algae trying to get started as there is pollen everywhere. The salt is at 3100, CYA at 60, so that rules those out. I may just need to shock it good to get it ready for the warm weather and start out clean.

    Chlorinator problems

Ok, so it is working correctly and I never checked the Diagnostics before and noticed that is was cycling. Thanks for confirming that!

    Chlorinator problems

I have a T-15 cell that is 9 years old and has been maintained as per the manufacturers guidelines. This year when it started to warm up I noticed it wasn't keeping the Cl2 levels where it normally did in past years. So I jacked up the output and it didn't seem to help. I figured it was time...

    What's your pool cleaners name?

We named our Polaris Cecil - he has a bad attitude. I swear he seeks me out and flips his tail at me.

    New Pump / Motor?

I did the same thing a few years ago. I had a single speed Pentair pump. I replaced the motor with the same basic electric motor but in the 2 speed, high efficiency version. I just took the electric motor to a local shop where they specialize in electric motors and they fixed me up. You will...

Sand filter has a small high pressure leak on a seam

Yeah, it is truly a pinhole leak and only leaks when the pump is on high speed, but it is shooting a, nearly invisible, tiny stream of water 8-9 feet up onto the side of the house. I ordered a new one on Amazon for $350 delivered - new valve, laterals and everything. All I have to do is scoop...

Sand filter has a small high pressure leak on a seam

Pentair SD80 filter, holds 350 lbs of sand. It has developed a pinhole leak on one of the seams of the body, near the top of the filter. It is 8 years old. I need to change my sand anyway. Is there anyway to patch it from the inside or should I just buy a new one from Amazon for $350...

Back swimmers or boatmen help...algae? Slam?

I have had problems with the backswimmers, or whatever they are called. High CL2 levels will not affect them so SLAMing will have not help. I have tried many times. Best way that I have found is to use the leaf skimmer and catch them, then squash them. I haven't tried the Borates as I had...

    Need a Frog repellant

Yes, frogs. With all of the rain we have been having there have been multiple hatchings somewhere around my yard. I don't have standing water anywhere but they are everywhere. Usually in the morning there will be 30-50 small baby frogs in the pool, some dead, some alive. Same thing in the...

    Skimmer - settling problem??

I pulled the collar out of the top and I think what is happening is that the concrete is pushing down on the skimmer. I am curious - if I take a small grinder and remove 1/4 inch of the concrete right where it meets the skimmer, would that allow the skimmer body to move up slightly and correct...

    Skimmer - settling problem??

Thanks for the idea. Never heard of Plast-aid but I will look into it. I assume I will need to pull down the water level and get the skimmer dry? Should I wait and see if the plumbing pushes through into the bottom of the skimmer and causes a leak or is there any structural benefit to adding...

    Skimmer - settling problem??

I noticed the other day that in the bottom of my skimmer where the pvc pipe goes out the bottom that it is cracked about halfway around. When I run my fingers around the opening I can feel the pipe is pushing up through the bottom of the skimmer. The bottom of the skimmer bulges up around the...

Should I replace 3 year old pump to save $$$

So, the motor must have some low speed wiring and some high speed wiring?? One relay goes to each? I can handle the relay and configuring the controller. Just curious about the motor.

Should I replace 3 year old pump to save $$$

I remember now when setting up the Goldline that there is a setting for single vs 2 speed pumps so I would need to change that in the Setup section. Is there any difference in wiring? How does the Goldline controller change it from low to high? Thanks. Great site, BTW.

Should I replace 3 year old pump to save $$$

If I purchase the WF-26DS motor, which is the same motor but 2 speed, will the low speed have enough flow for my SWCG? I found the pump motor online for $270 - Not too bad.

Should I replace 3 year old pump to save $$$

Had not thought about that. That may be the way to go. With a 2 speed pump do you control the different speeds on the pump or can I set it up through my Goldline system?

Should I replace 3 year old pump to save $$$

I have a 16x32 inground vinyl pool that was built 3 years ago. It is about 17,000 gallons. When we had it built it seemed like a neat idea to have some of the Jandy Deckjets installed as well. Due to this the builder put in one large pump instead of 2 smaller ones. The pump is a Pentair...
