in reading a lot of these post I notice there is never a mention of using algeside, i have always include a few oz. of polyquat every few weeks..

I had added about 2# of stabilizer at he time. OK we finally have someFC this morning. water not clear yet so will continue with the frequent testing and adding. In retrospect I think fertilizer was the culpret due to the 2" stain on the steps where the water level was when we opened it.

my original CYA was 20 , I added 15 gal bleach and it was gone in 2 hr, that evening I added stabilizer at advice of my local pool store and later added 15# of dichor shock, . next am it registered 0 FC

Another question? the calculator calls for 12 gal of bleach, do I add this every night. for how long???

would you please explain the CYA chart and How I determine the amount of bleach needed? thanks

So..do I keep adding chlorine? what is the limit?? or do I drain and if so will half way be enough??/

I have a ps232 kit from pool solutions CYA 60 TA 200 Cal 240 FC 0 CC 0 TC .5 PH 7.2

Have have had my 30K gal inground for 20+ years . this year for first time I can not get any FC reading. Put in 17 gal bleach at 8am all gone by noon. Last night but in 15# granular shock, today FC 0 CC 0 HELP!
