Need help ASAP please——-spa blower size

6 Jets = 60 cfm. Jandy recommendation. Nothing magical. I could miss that number and not care probably. Pool was filled yesterday. Jets are not yet installed. My cousin, Who builds crazy pools for himself, said his spa uses a 2 hp and it was similar to mine. Don’t have any other...

Need help ASAP please——-spa blower size

I might have a problem. My spa was plumbed with 1.5” air line to 6 jets. The line has only sweep 90’s or 45’s. 5ea 90’s and 1ea 45 the spa Jets are probably 12” below water. The total run is probably about 39 feet. All of the calculators seam to use 2” air line. There is...

    Pentair IntellipH?

old thread, new question. I am am concerned about where to put the acid tank. I have my heater on one end, pumps on the other. Filter in the middle (that is my planned layout, still plumbing). I dont want the acid tank at either end, so planning next to the filter. Any issues...

    New build in central Texas

Just some specs on the pool. #4 grade 60 rebar on a 12" grid. Double mat on all walls tied and overlapping at least 18" into floor mat. Spa walls capped with "U" bars all around. There will be some on the pool walls, but the engineer says I don't need them. I just have some left over...

Btw..... I spent 4 hours today helping him just to get it almost done. He was having problems staying off my pipes and leaving the tops level on the spa.

    New build in central Texas

Rebar is almost done. I hope to start plumbing this weekend. Woo hoo. Only problem is that now I am busy. Very busy. So this will suck more than it would have if he finished two months ago when I had more time.

I had that problem for a while and never completely figured it out. I think it was my basket lid. When I really tightened it the bubbles went away.

    Gunite/shotcrete subs?

None of those will travel that far. Maybe for specific clients or mega builds.

    Gunite/shotcrete subs?

I was contemplating San Antonio or Waco. Houston seams like it would be expensive for a travel fee.

Rebar question. Shouldn't the double mats around the spa and walls be connected? I know he is still not done, but I wanted to know. Thanks

    New old SWG?

It has a stand alone power supply. No automation.

    New old SWG?

My cousin has a commercial facility with a pool. He installed a large Hayward SWG (not sure of model number) and after 6 months turned it off. He thought the large swimmer load was a problem and the SWG was not keeping up. It has been sitting for years in system, but off. He offered the...

More work. We are having issues caused by the excavator. Some of the benches will have to be oversized. I might slope the walls a little there to make the recliners. What do you think? Also, the Gunite guy will have to add some of the sweeps in and smooth out the rough dig shapes...

I will have a dedicated feature pump, but I have tons of features, so I don't want to have to dedicate the pump to one feature. My plumbing diagram is earlier in this thread.

Ok, I have a problem to solve. The tanning ledge is too deep. I was going to have 3 bubblers but I am afraid they will not work right if they are deep. I don't feel like putting a ton of extra gunnite in across the entire area, so I was thinking about doing just a sloped area to cut the...

I had the form guy square up my scupper bowl bases while he was there. One had either been bumped or was never square. The rebar guy claims to be heading out there tomorrow to finish. I think it will take me a couple weeks to prepare for gunnite after that.
