I did vaccum to waste and removed all algie. Bag was cleaned each time. Still having issue with not being able to run longer then a few minutes. Pool temp is 75 degrees and no sign of algie.

Tried hooking up the Polaris to the low end return last night, didnt get enough flow to it, Moved very slowly. Gotta reconsider rebuilding the motor I have or purchasing a new one. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to purchase? Local stores are a complete rip off.

replacing the motor from what I have found are generally in the area of 400 when all said and done. I have a Century booster 3/4hp How hard it is to rebuild? I have a good mechanical ability, installed the SWG recently. I didnt want to dump another 400 out for this pump if in fact I can run...

So it seems my booster pump for my Polaris is going, neighbors have made some suggestions to get a new pump. However I dont feel like shelling out 400 bucks for a new booster pump. Could I use a return off the pool to run the Polaris?

O-Ring on the basket is good an lubed. Spider gasket? When I shut down the pump, I can see and hear the water flush out of the plumbing. There is no visible water leaks at all around the pump or pump base.

It comes out of the union to a 90 degree elbow to a 4 inch piece of PVC into the Inlet.

I will check out the unions. What shall I use for the lube? Some type of Silicone?

Yes this is mounted to the return side to the pool. When I shut the pump down I can here and see the water flow back down to the pump. I definately here air coming in somewhere. If there was an air leak somewhere i would assume I would see leaking water. I am not. I appreciate the help!
