    Polaris Pump vs Main Filter pump....

    Tried hooking up the Polaris to the low end return last night, didnt get enough flow to it, Moved very slowly. Gotta reconsider rebuilding the motor I have or purchasing a new one. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to purchase? Local stores are a complete rip off.

    So it seems my booster pump for my Polaris is going, neighbors have made some suggestions to get a new pump. However I dont feel like shelling out 400 bucks for a new booster pump. Could I use a return off the pool to run the Polaris?

    Pump not Primining on AM startup

    O-Ring on the basket is good an lubed. Spider gasket? When I shut down the pump, I can see and hear the water flush out of the plumbing. There is no visible water leaks at all around the pump or pump base.

    Yes this is mounted to the return side to the pool. When I shut the pump down I can here and see the water flow back down to the pump. I definately here air coming in somewhere. If there was an air leak somewhere i would assume I would see leaking water. I am not. I appreciate the help!
