    Issues with SWG. Hayward TCELL940

I just noticed bubbles coming out of the pool returns so went to look at the swg controller. Seems fine now aside from incorrect salt ppm vs actual measurement.

    Issues with SWG. Hayward TCELL940

Not sure if my cell has reached end of life, or if its having other issues. It is about 4 years old. Taylor K-1766 says 4000 ppm salt (too much, i know. More was added based on reading of SWG). SWG says 2300ppm. FC in pool is dropping. Now 5.5ppm. How do I know if I need a new cell, or if...

JB on the way! Thanks again One last question; any place I can score a new light for a fair price? All I’ve seen is $1000/ea and that seems awfully steep

Need help w pool light removal… ugh!

Thank you, especially @JamesW and @1poolman1 Once I got the ground and remaining light wire out, I couldn't get the ground to come back out into the JB. So I will replace with jacked wire and replace the JB as recommended. Y’all rock!! And Dang that water is cold already.

As the existing ground has no insulation, should I replace it with wire that does or doesnt have insulation? Maybe with insulation would pull more easily? Many thanks!

Need help w pool light removal… ugh!

i understand that. But the lug itself isnt connected in any way to the light. So what is it actually grounding? The light niche seems to be non metallic, so not that. By supplemental do you mean it is not connected to the light and is sort of a dead-end ground? I just dove back in, and I cant...

Pull the ground out which way? If i switch to a 12v light, how will that impact my spa light? They were wired together in that JB. Would need to replace both, and I presume the controller?
