After vacuuming i found these in my basket. Any idea what would cause that?

Are these spots normal? Almost like little flakes of plaster came off.

Can a patch be done that matches or will it always show the spot? And does a patch cause any long term issues with the plaster lifespan?

You can feel the crack. It had a plastic insert with a metal clip for the rope. I believe they just plastered over it.

Is it normal for rebar not to be used?

And this repair after a form fell.

Also seeing a lot of cracks on the coping I will post the worst one and a common one. There are 23 cracks all together so far

Had new coping and plaster finished about two months ago and looking for some insight. We wanted our pool rope removed with the new plaster. Now we have these cracks where the rope was attached on both sides. Any thoughts on what can be done and what i could expect to hear from the pb?

Yes it is going to be our first pool. 16×32 kidney shaped pool 8 feet deep according to the owners it's supposed to be 16000 gallons.

We are going to be new pool owners in about two weeks and look forward to learning a lot from this group.
