    Hi Duraleigh, Thanks for chiming in. It's probably just my lack of experience, but it seems like there would be better water circulation for distributing chemicals. Also, I would think that a main drain would assist in a cleaner pool as dirt and debris migrate to the deep end of the pool. Jeff
