    I was Hoping it wasn’t algae. Did my OCLT last night and failed. I have been in a slam since June 2. About 50-60 bottles of 10% chlorine. But I started with a swamp. My fault. Last fall I just didn’t think my pool would make it another summer. Wishful thinking. Thanks

    I am in a slam mode and have cloudy water. I can not see the bottom. I have vacuum to waste once and have been vacuuming in the filter mode on pump. Is that ok? Yes I have cleaned my sand filter pump twice.

    Thanks. When I first started I did once an hour then went to every 2 hours for 4 days and then moved to 3-4 times a day. Doing brushing everyday. Going back to every 2 hours.

    It looks cloudier in person. I do have flaps and have been brushing. It’s hard to vacuum when you can’t see what’s there. I have vacuum to waste.

    Saltwater test strips

    I thought I read somewhere if you have been in a slam mode for a while you could turn on s.w. generator to help maintain slam levels. I due test and dose with liquid chlorine. I am on week 2 with slam but started with a swamp.
