    Dirty water pumped back in the pull at the start of the pump.

    Hi! New pool owner and new to this forum. Looking for some advice. I have a unground pool with sand filter and Hayward valve. When I turn my pool pump on a lot of air comes out in the return line and after few seconds it goes away and then I get dirty water in the pool for a second. Why is that?
