FC & TA off the chart high

I have been using the Pool Math app ever since it was created. You measure, type in the digits, it tells you what to add and how much. It doesn't tell me what you just wrote. ha ha Figuring out how often to run my pump, and what % to keep Salt Cell on to maintain the levels I want/need is what...

FC & TA off the chart high

So running my VS pump 8 hrs/day is generating approx. 4FC per day. I read on the CYA to FC chart that SWG pools tend to stay Algae free at a lower minimum FC level compared with the minimum FC column for manually dosed pools. So I was keeping it at 6 thinking it would be twice as high as the...

FC & TA off the chart high

I do not. Not sure how I measure that, honestly. My FC has never been above 10 unless I slam (which I've only ever needed to do twice). I usually keep it around 6 and I test every week. Only drops to 3 FC in a week.

FC & TA off the chart high

Will do. I never buy anything from them (phosphates is their big push) but I caved on this one. Thanks.

FC & TA off the chart high

Ok...I will wait it out. I bought some Leslie's Chlor Nuetralizer. Should I keep that out of this equation or use it? I'm not swimming in it, so no real hurry. Thank you for the rapid response.

FC & TA off the chart high

Hi, I have maintaining my pools regularly with the help of TFP for years. A couple weeks ago, I did my water testing and my chlorine was turning the k1000 orange. So I then did the Chlorine drop test in the TF-100 kit just to get an accurate" FC reading. I stopped counting the R-0871 drops at 30...

    Re-Plastering - Any company recommendations-LOS ANGELES

It's crazy on all contracting jobs. I've had the same experience with Solar, home remodeling, roof, etc. Literally crazy (and don't get me started on the amount of money people have out here and the great lengths they will go to spend it. ha ha Thank you.

    Re-Plastering - Any company recommendations-LOS ANGELES

Hi, not sure that I should approach this here, but I've got nothing left to lose. So...I've had about four pool plastering companies come out to quote replastering (and new tile line too) my small'ish pool here in S Cali. ZERO of them will respond to questions asked or even call me back after...

Spa Addition to IG pool - Help needed

Yeah, I built a pool and spa in TX a couple years ago. I don't mind them, actually.

Spa Addition to IG pool - Help needed

Thank you. I've had a few companies come out to bid. Two of which built the pool in 2006 (separate companies today). I like them both, actually and can see why they are still in business out here. Anyway, this particular design is by the original builder and he does have the plumbing schematics...

Spa Addition to IG pool - Help needed

Getting Bids on new spa addition as well as resurfacing pool, new water line tile, coping (poured in place), etc. The question I'm having is this... I really would like the spa (pool level) to be next to the steps (where bench is in Pool2 pic) - which would be easier in my mind since concrete...

    High TA

Ok...I Just did new results from my earlier addition of MA and TA is 110. Added more MA per PoolMath. I have never aerated the water and TA automatically rises. I have been assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that the infloor cleaning system, which bubbles the top of the water in several areas, has...

    High TA

Ok...I've been told because I have an SWG that the biggest challenge will be to keep my TA and PH low. I've been constantly running at 140 TA for last two months. Today the read on TA was 165. WTH? Here are my numbers: FC- 8 [normally around 5 but I reduced pump run time in half (3 hrs instead...

Can I replace these with exact ones

Also...here is what I meant by one has a male thread, one missing just has female thread - hopefully you can see the difference

Can I replace these with exact ones

Thanks for the clarification...They are threaded and directional. The one missing only has the female threads inside of pool remaining (nothing for the eyeball to screw onto. That must be a two piece assembly unit I suppose. I didn't know if the directional was imperative for water flow reasons.

Can I replace these with exact ones

Hi, I have four of these in center of my pool (reducer?) - One is missing (along with the male thread part) went to Leslie's (wrong move) and they've never seen these or they are wider eyeballs that don't give the same directional reach. First - what is the correct name for these? Second -...

    New to SWG pool.

Hi Guys, I'm back with an UPDATE: Pool "Inspector" called Jandy...we did the diagnostics and fault code was 145 and Jandy said my Salt board was bad. The first Jandy Rep said we needed a new board and gives my guy the part number. Pool guy comes back, opens the panel, and it doesn't match what...
