Passed the OCLT test! Put the floater back in this morning. Pool is looking very clear! Some dirt on the bottom. Needs to be vacuumed. How often do you all vaccuum or do you do it only when you see dirt? I have friends all over the spectrum. Some daily, 2 times a week, or just once a week...

I'm trying to get my levels up to where they need to be so i can do the OCLT test to see if i have to SLAM it. I just got the kit over the weekend and did the tests on Sunday afternoon. I know if i have to SLAM, i need to get the stuff to do so, which we haven't had the chance to go out and...

Our CYA level was at 10 at best. Doing that test i filled up the cylinder and could still see the black dot. Today, after the stabilizer, i got to 50 and could no longer see it. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Ugh,I suck! so within 2 hours, the stabilizer dissolved BUT we added TOO much liquid chlorine! Ugh, I'm such an idiot! 2am I was so worried so out I went to test it. We did the color test where you add the 5 drops of the yellow and 5 of the red and then the chlorine test. Got 13 last night...

Sun is out! Russo221 checked the chlorine level this morning and got 3 to 6. I have to do the exact amount test to see. And later today I'll do the cya test. Crossing fingers!:)

Well, we did 4 lbs of the cYA. Within 2 hours, it was done. We put it in around 1030 and he just checked. My knee high was floating in the skimmer, empty. He said the pool is cloudy too, moreso then it's been. Hopefully this gets the cya level up! Putv done liquid chlorine today too so...
