How much does this pool retail for

Triswaggatops, We are in the process of having our pool built here in Gilbert, AZ. You are just on the other side of Phoenix so I would suspect our pricing would be similar. We ended up getting three quotes from three different builders. The prices ranged from a starting package of $16,695 for...

    New Pool in Arizona

Yesterday they started the decking and completed some more today. Now we have to wait for the long labor day weekend to be over before they continue working on it. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]

    New Pool in Arizona

Just had the tile installed today. Initially thought it was the wrong color but it was actually the reflection of the sun that was making the copper streaks look white! The tile in the pool still has film of grout dust on it so its hard to see the the full color.

Auto Pilot vs. Pentair Intellichlor SWG

Thanks for the feedback on the AutoPilot SWG. I feel much better knowing that I wasnt given some cheap knock off SWG. My initial confusion on the specs was because I thought the pentair pump/filter included the SWG. So I was thinking AutoPilot was the Pentagon brand. But now the setup makes...

Auto Pilot vs. Pentair Intellichlor SWG

So I'm in the middle of a pool build and I open one of the parts boxes left by the contractors. It says Auto Pilot on it. It turns out I got an Auto Pilot SWG with my pool build package. I have a Pentair pump and DE filter and just assumed the SWG was Pentair as well but its not. Does anyone...

    New Pool in Arizona

Can finally see it taking shape! Shot Crete done. Been watering it down every few hours day and night. PB told me I only had to water it 2-3 times, only during daylight hours but I don't want to risk any cracking! Have read to many posts on here where people have small cracks that they were...

    New Pool in Arizona

AZdesertpool, Yeah the pool builder had benches in our first design. A long one extending from the shallow to the deep end and one at the deep end protruding out into the pool. After thinking it over I wondered why would I dig a pool just to fill it back in with a bunch of cement blocks? When I...

    New Pool in Arizona

Spoonman- Thanks! Yeah we initially were going to extend the shallow end from 32' to 36' long but decided to extend the deep end so it comes in closer to the house. BuckeyeChris- Yep, here in Gilbert its 3' from the wall and 5' from any house or structure. GeoSage- Yeah that backhoe tore...

    New Pool in Arizona

Tired of the AZ heat and no water! Growing up in Florida it was nice to cool off at the beaches, rivers and lakes. But living in the desert now for almost two decades I figure its time to add some water into the mix! Starting this post to keep track of the weekly pool progress. Here are the...

Before and after pictures of our new pool

Nice pool, but for the amount of $ you put into it why didn't you get the in floor cleaning system? Also did your builder mention sealing the decking to prevent the saltwater stain? My builder advised me to seal mine prior to the salt conversion which will protect the surface and extend the life.

    Hello from Arizona

What's up. I'm Jason living in Arizona and we have been in our current house for just over 3 years. I am tired of struggling through another summer of caravanning to the local public pool and dealing with the excess chlorine and people. So after a few weeks of pool estimates and ironing out...
