But the Intex Ultra pool is made to be used with saltwater systems or with chlorine so I would assume the metal has been treated so that it doesn't rust??! I hope so, as I have just purchased an Intex Ultra pool with the saltwater system :(

I am confused as to why you want to hang it from the deck. Why not build the deck around the pool and metal frame so that it covers the pool. Seems to me it would be a lot less complicated. :)

How thick is your concrete pad? I am getting one built for an Intex Ultra Frame pool 18' x 9' x 52". The builder reckons it needs to be 6".
