I just saw this filter on that post! I have polyester batting and can do this. One additional question. The steps and vinyl look stained. Will using the iron filter fix that or do I need to use the metal stuff, OR additionally do I need to sue a stain remover?

Ok, I know it is iron. I remembered I had some Vit C tablets and was able to get the stains off the white steps, they look yellow upon close inspection. What do I get to remove iron? Will this affect my pH and TA that I am needing to fix?
