i am here for advice and i plan on taking control of our pool. My pool is very clear, not cloudy or slimy, i dont have the exact ch number off the top of my head but i will check that when i get home and yes i did read the pool school as well, i just know some people told me to use the skimmer...

all my other readings are spot on except for my chlorine and my local pool store set me up on a schedule with exact chemicals when to use and how much to use depending on readings with testing the water every 3 days or so and i do have a kit.

i was told i needed to add about 25lbs of calcium hardner to my pool this week and to do so over the span of a week about 5lbs a day. Do i really have to mix it with water in a bucket or can i dispense it directly around the perimeter of my pool? i dont feel comfortable mixing it with water...

thank you, they buried the back of the pool into my slope and i had my lawn re-graded-now its all seeded, just waiting for grass - - - Updated - - - and i was able to get an aboveground permit which did not increase my property taxes
