    Polaris Freedom?

I do not have the pool set up you have so I cannot relate but hopefully can answer some of your questions. I have included screen shots of the app views to show the limited cycles and ability to customize. Perhaps with time the app and system will be updated. 1. No, the only options are bottom...

Polaris Booster Pump Died - Time for a Robot?

Same happened to us, Polaris 280 went to greener pastures, as well as the pump. We went to a robot cleaner / cordless (really did not want to deal with cords and storage) and have not looked back yet. The Polaris Freedom is what we went with and it has been doing a really good job for us...

    Polaris Freedom?

Though I feel brushing is always needed as at least a weekly minimum, I vacuum monthly via the skimmer method and a cover over the basket to catch larger items if any. More for steps and wading areas and spa as the robot cleaner does not get to these. Pretty simple to do and a few YouTube...

    Polaris Freedom?

I would say I will continue to brush and even manual vacuum the pool. A lot due to my habit of enjoying the weekend morning coffee, pool testing, and check of the system. I feel brushing helps regardless of any pool cleaner system moving dirt off areas a cleaner cannot and will/may not get...

    Polaris Freedom?

Another "tester" of the Polaris Freedom here. I was tired of the seemingly endless issues with our pressure based cleaner and really was not an advocate of spending the $$ for a robot type unit. Did a ton of research here, there and everywhere. Was leaning to a Dolphin unit I decided to give...

Trying to move away from Pucks for daily use...

Mine stores fine in the pool box as I use it up here in North Texas. I keep a just in time inventory each week. Around 6 to 7 jugs. I add to a 14.4k pool about 3/4 to a jug a day in 100' heat. All others markers spot on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Best test kit ?

I, as others, cannot live without my speed stirrer (well I could but for only a short time). The TF-100 kit is great and has fantastic support. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get rid of the Tricolor Tabs? Move to Bleach?

Final post on this thread for me... has been absolute perfect the past week. Basic testing daily for Chlorine and pH, every other day TF-100 kit full test just to remind me I'm not crazy. Temps have been near or just over 100'. FC = 6.0 (loss remains at just under 1 overnight) CC = 0 (no...

Get rid of the Tricolor Tabs? Move to Bleach?

Thanks all, been following the TFP method as mentioned. I use the TF-100 test kit, check FC and pH daily with a weekly full test and Pool Math. Latest results are as follows: FC = 3.5 CC = 2 pH = 7.5 TA = 75 CH = 275 CYA = below 20 (expect to go up with add of liquid conditioner this...

Get rid of the Tricolor Tabs? Move to Bleach?

New pool owner here... so please bear with me as I have searched the forum the past few days on this. When my pool start up was completed, I started the TPC method of maintaining the pool. Sparkling water, test results spot on and all was great. These were cooler months as well. A little...

As a new pool owner, we are quite excited to finally have our own pool to enjoy and have friends and family come by to use it as...
