    What do I do now?

I'm glad you guys do ask questions. Sometimes I think I'm overthinking this process, which really is quite simple. And then I start thinking I'm an idiot for asking the same question 5 different ways. I'll get it, with all your guys help. Thanks!

    What do I do now?

I might be confused on this one..I started the fill and CYA just tested actual 100 ppm with about half full. Will that CYA drop a lot more with fill water?

    What do I do now?

70% drained. I need to dump more correct?

    What do I do now?

OK, I see it now.. qt of pool water and qt of tap water mixed, now coming up with 60. Multiply that twice is what the actual CYA is?

    What do I do now?

Great idea! Thanks! That's why I'm here. Looks like Mother Nature's working with me this weekend in Phoenix. High of 77 will ease my mind on the water dump, before possible 100's next week.

    What do I do now?

Dumping water this weekend...not knowing my actual CYA (over 100), do you think I could get by with 50% drain? Or should we just keep going and get rid of it all?

    What do I do now?

Now what? Just got my test kit. CYA well over 100. PH is low 6.8 range. That's as far as I went, knowing I've got to raise the PH. Last thing I want to do is the dreaded drain and refill. What now? Thanks all...:grrrr:

Re: Yes!!! Test kit be here tomorrow! Ha! She's was mad because she scanned 20 jugs individually, and tore off coupon on each jug one at a time...I prolly would've scanned 1 jugx20, 1 couponx20 and be happy...thinking this dude's gonna make his pool SHINE!

    What do I do now?

Oh, and Wal Mart cashier got irritated after unfolding all those .50 per jug coupons...

    What do I do now?

I hope drain and refill is not in order. I've always been told that's not recommended in the AZ heat, which is just around the corner. Myth? I don't know. I've always done it in the cooler winter months with no issues. Thanks:study:
