Where is Intermatic timer model# located?

After realizing I got the right timer with the wrong enclosure, I decided to give a Wi-Fi timer a shot. The only thing that is different electrically, is that the Wi-Fi timer supports only a 30A inductive (general, non-resistive) load, while the mechanical supports a 40A inductive load. I don't...

Where is Intermatic timer model# located?

I got a new one and am all set to install it when I notice the label says "Type 1 Indoor Use Only". I was going to replace the old one which is installed on an exterior wall next to the pool pump. Did I get the wrong one?

Where is Intermatic timer model# located?

Please don't mind the multiple on and off trippers. My question is: Where do I find the model # for my pump timer? Or how can I tell which model I have? Thanks!

    Dry Stabilizer Calculation

Hi all. I have been a paid subscriber to the Pool Math app for a few years now. I've noticed it seems to underestimate the effect of adding dry stabilizer. For all other products such as 10.5% sodium hypochlorite, and 31.45% HCl, the calculations seem pretty accurate, but whenever I add dry...

    Polaris 9550 Sport Troubleshooting Help

Switched to this about a year and a half ago and love it. Doesn't have the remote control feature, but far better value than Polaris, IMO. Currently $330 on Amazon. When I bought it, it came with a coupon that brought the price down to $285.

I'm just replacing the top half of the valve, keeping the existing plumbing and bottom half of the valve unchanged.

How can I tell if I should replace my spider gasket?

I am in the process of replacing my MPV, removed the top part of the valve, and my spider gasket looks a little rough. I think it needs replacing but I've never seen inspected one of these before so wanted to get your take. Also, can you recommend a good video or written procedure for doing the...

    Leaking Multiport Valve

Thank you for all the input and for the link to the parts catalog from Pentair. Answers to questions: 1. My valve's P/N is 261152, so the replacement part 270067 should work 2. I was going to replace the spider gasket since several reviews of the valve part said they replaced their spider...

Anhydrous Citric Acid - Rust-Oleum Concrete Etch

Hello TFPers, I recently re-finished a concrete floor with a Rust-Oleum epoxy kit and it came with two 1-lb. bags of anhydrous citric acid for etching the concrete. Do you think I could use this product in lieu of ascorbic acid for removing metal stains? If so, would 2-lbs. be enough to treat...

    Polaris P9550 review...

Sorry that you are dealing with the same issue I experienced with the 9550. I was not able to find a solution so I ended up selling both 9550s for scrap and spent about a year and a half cleaning my pool manually... until March of this year I purchased a Paxcess robot off of Amazon for $350 plus...

48 hrs into SLAM and the yellow in my plaster isn't disappearing

Hi all. I started a SLAM 48+ hours ago because I noticed what I thought was yellow colored algae in various spots around the pool. It doesn't seem to be disappearing and I can't rub it away with my finger with vigorous scrubbing so could these spots be some sort of stain in the plaster? And if...
