IC60 powering up but not showing sanitizer output.

My IC 60 is showing that it has flow and good salt but doesn't show that it is actually producing chlorine. Pushing more or less buttons don't do anything. When I go into diagnostic mode it shows one light red. I replaced the flow switch as a potential quick fix and still does the same thing. I...

Does anyone know when during tile/coping process tiles are put on stairs and ledge?

Yes that sounds correct, I've been told that they don't do it at the same time because any foot traffic in and out of the pool could knock them loose or off. Mine was done the day before finish plaster

    New Pool in Central CA

It's been a long time since I've posted any pictures of progress on the pool! I have had a busy last year with work and family so I haven't completed the pool yet. Last week marked a year ago that I broke ground on my pool and I was hoping to have this project well behind me by now. So I have...

    New Pool in Central CA

It's been over a month since gunite. I have been pretty busy with work so I haven't spent as much time as I would have liked, but I feel pretty good for where it's at in the construction process. I know how I enjoy looking at other peoples pictures so I thought I would add some to give everyone...

    New Pool in Central CA

Here is some of the progress that has taken place over the last week or so. We had an inch of rain last week that set me back a few days but I think it's going well. Steel is scheduled for Wednesday. I still have the pressure test to finish today and install forms for the waterfall prior to steel.

    New Pool in Central CA

Kim, the dark top soil will be used for shaping, and adding landscaping mounds around the pool and the rest will be used as fill in a low section of our property. I still could use more dirt too!! Last year a pool excavation company dumped 100 truck loads of dirt and I could probably use another...

    New Pool in Central CA

A few more pictures of the excavation. Definitely more dirt than I thought! After 2 1/2 days of excavation I still some touch up before I move onto plumbing. We decided to add a large bench and made the deep end slightly larger so it set me back about half a day. The steel contractor will not...

    New Pool in Central CA

Yes they are a great tool when used responsibly. Yes I agree with you from what I have read. I would love to install my entire pool with an in-floor but the cost would be ridiculous. I opted for the dust n vac just so my sweep wouldn't get hung up on benches or bar stools. I haven't heard of...

    New Pool in Central CA

I have never had in issue in the past with any other permit i have pulled. My permit is on different color paper so they know its an "Owner Builder" permit. That's also why they have inspectors to be sure that I follow code.

    New Pool in Central CA

First day of excavation went pretty smooth no surprises in the ground and nothing ripped up. I have some touch-up on the radius's and some trenches left for tomorrow. Then on to plumbing. This is the only item that I'm not real sure If I'm doing it correctly. I will have 2 filtration systems for...

    New Pool in Central CA

I have spent the last couple of hours reading that exact thread. I'm on page 29 so still have a bit to go! As far as the power consumption yes PGE definitely sticks it to us. Luckily that was one of my previous projects I did 2 yrs ago. I installed as an OB a 8KW expandable to 12KW solar system...

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be using a friend that is a licensed electrician come and complete the install of the equipment just so I can say that I had a "qualified" person install their equipment. Luckily I'll also be able to get all the equipment from the local wholesaler at cost from...

    New Pool in Central CA

So after many years of other construction projects higher on the priority list I am finally starting our pool build, and like every other project in my life I refuse to pay someone to do a project that I'm perfectly capable of doing with some education. Of course with that mentality my...
