Ok..I was able to see the HLS code in the panel...according to the troubleshooting diagram, it is either insufficient water flow, the high limit switch or the automatic gas shutoff. It says to "verify proper operation of internal bypass Valve, and Thermal Governor and check for Heat Exchanger...

Thanks...the heater seems to warm the water (i had at 95, then increased to 98)...it just starts, works for a minute or so, stops (light on), light clears and starts again..I will check for corrosion and see if there is a code when the "service heater" light comes on..thanks for your reply

In my experience, as water temp drops, the ability of the SWCG sensors to accurately read salt ppm in the water decreases. My IC-40 reads (today) 2800 ppm. Actual salt content is 3400-3600 range. The unit is giving a 'Low salt" signal (orange light), but is still producing plenty of chlorine...

Nah...it is not greasy at all. In fact, I could get it off the wheels with hands and just wash it off with plain water. At first I thought it could be rust from the mechanism inside the cleaner, but it doesn't seem the case.

This weekend I took out my Polaris cleaner out of the water for a general clean up/check up. A yellowish/orangeish goo that formed in the inside of the rubber wheels caught my attention. I put the wheels in a strong solution of Clorox just in case it was some sort of algae, but I have no idea...

Update: water temp sensor had a crack in it and stopped working. Air sensor had no apparent damage, but was replaced anyway. Equipment under warranty, so no problems. PB is behind his work and we couldn't be more satisfied with his perfromance...

Hi there..I have noticed some small growths (I assume some sort of algae) above water line in my skimmers, only in grout (both deep and shallow ends). It is just a tiny spot which I remove with my fingernail...My water seems well chlorinated and balanced, but these two spots show themselves...
