New build- Frisco Texas. Little yard little pool

I have an ozone system as a supplement to my chlorine system and it allows us to run the pool at much lower chlorine levels that without which is what we wanted. We've had the pool for 3 months and it's beautiful. We have a lot of stone and didn't want to deal with the erosion issues from a salt...

Hello from an excited Newbie in Bixby Oklahoma!!

I saw these at Sams this weekend as well. That's a GREAT price on the deck box, it's normally like $159.99. I don't know if you have Costco near you but I found similar chairs to the woven chaise lounges for $159.99 at my local store a few weeks ago. I am pairing 2 of them with an umbrella and...

    Bubblers and pool depth

We really wanted bubblers on the ledge but the bubblers that my PB uses have a plastic recess part that may hurt a bit of walked or jumped on. Are your bubblers flush with the pool floor?

    3 ton jumping rock/waterfall

Love the greenery around your waterfall. Is the tree behind it a Crape Myrtle? Do you have issues with the blooms falling into the pool?

I don't know, that isn't how they measured it. It's 9'x4'x4' and it's the same as the PB showroom.

    N Texas Waterfall/slide pool

Yeah, our easements affected us as well. Every little bit helps with a small yard. I live in McKinney but right on the border of Allen and we have to be 5 feet from the house and 5 feet from the property line. Well, 5 feet from water.

Hello from an excited Newbie in Bixby Oklahoma!!

I like it, I think it won't show stains as much. My grout is going to be grey as well. I didn't even think about it but the salesman said he recommended that color with my tile because it wouldn't show stains.

Question on Pool Fittings on Tahoe Blue Pebble Pool Interior

We are going with a Tahoe Blue pebble interior for our pool and I believe we could choose from white or black. Our salesperson said that black would look best but I am wondering if we should request white or grey instead. Does anyone have any pictures of fittings in this color pool or...

So far, I love the site and probably spend WAY too much time on it. Our first inspection is today and as long as all is well, we will have gunite by the end of the week... OMG, we are getting a pool! I mentioned to someone that we might be getting a pool and my hubby was like "We have a huge...

    New design renderings; Thoughts?

I can't wait to see the progression as you begin to build of this pool. I love design #2. As someone else said, both are nice but #2 is jaw-dropping.

Paramount Clear O3 Ozonator wont start back up

Pool Clown, thanks for the excellent description on the Ozone system. We are including for the exact reasons you stated. A SWG wasn't an option due to all the stone work we have, we didn't want to take the chance but our kids have sensitive skin so it is imperative that we are able to use as...

    New pool build in McKinney,Texas

I hope so! I've seen a lot of talk about test kits on the site. I asked my pool builder if I needed to test the water before hand but he said no and that we would receive a kit during pool school. Should I be doing something with the kit before that?

Help with Final Design and Pool Depth for dig Thursday

Thanks for all the feedback! We decided to stay with the 3.5-5.5 because as bmoreswim so eloquently put it, a pool you can't stand in is still eminently usable". We went with the raised spa and they actually dug the hole yesterday. I'll continue to chronicle the build in my original post...

    N Texas Waterfall/slide pool

Just wanted to say that I LOVE your pool! I used your spa as an inspiration for mine. That slide is AWESOME! I would have loved to have it but we don't have the space. Do you happen to know the length and width of your pool? I'm trying to judge what mine will actually look like.

New Pool Build - Conroe, TX - LOTS of pics! Come say hi Y'all.

It was I believe 1k more to raise it and add the stonework so certainly not a terrible difference to elevate. After all this money is spent, I'd better love it either way!

Help with Final Design and Pool Depth for dig Thursday

Lol! Unfortunately that is the largest possible pool we can fit in our yard so longer isn't possible and we can't go substantially deeper without risking steep inclines. My kids are much for sitting in the water. They are usually floating about, swimming or playing basketball, football or...

Lol! So now you see my dilemma! The color of the water was just part of the artistic rendering I didn't choose that color. I went with a Tropic Blue color.

Help with Final Design and Pool Depth for dig Thursday

We are all set to start our pool dig on Thursday and I am having second thoughts on the pool depth and the design. We have three kids, 14, 10 and 5 and were going to go with 3.5-4-5 for the depth with a waterfall grotto in the 5 ft but are thinking of changing it to a smaller 3.5-4-4.5-5.5. Can...

New Pool Build - Conroe, TX - LOTS of pics! Come say hi Y'all.

Thanks so much! That certainly helps. The original plan we had included a flush spa to make the pool look bigger but then we changed it to raised so that we could use it for sitting things on/seating etc. But I still really like the way the flush looks so I can't decide! I have attached the two...
