Yesterday I added 10 ppm, just a few minutes ago I added another 15ppm. Not sure why all 10 ppm of cal hypo evaporated. Could it be a bad batch of chlorine?

I tested twice and the results came up TA 30 both times. I didn't let the hose run, almost immediately I filled 3 gallon bucket. Will do as you suggested.

You are correct. I meant TA is 70 or 80

I believe you are saying my TA should stay constant, if one is not adding chemicals. I have to lower PH now as my fill water adds to my existing range of 7.5 to 7.8 Lower PH by acid.

I tested TA 3 times from the fill water, all 3 tests came up with 30. 3 drops of r-0009 and turns red. first two of r-0007, then five of r-0008.
