Pad is 36x30. Does anyone cut theirs so it only is under the feet/legs of the stairs? I can picture stuff getting trapped under it and being a good spot for algae to grow.

Thanks. Reading here I was under the impression I need to drop pH to 7.0-7.2 then aerate or I would be chasing pH. Last year I never added MA. this year I’ve been through two gallons already.

We lower it below the eye. Then the pressure on the cover lowers it way below the skimmer which is what we were hoping to avoid. last year I pumped the water from the cover into the pool. Too many decomposed leaves.
