    You had better think about guests, too. My pool is 35' on the long edge and I went straight line depth from 3' to 6'. This has worked out well, particularly for the little critters.

    We had our pool resurfaced a couple years ago and went with pebble tech. Everyone who sees the pool comments on the beautiful look. Hopefully won't have to resurface again for a long time but if I did, I'd do the same thing again.

    Painting concrete pool deck

    A good cleaning is essential for good adhesion. I use a sherwin-williams stain on my concrete deck. I've painted twice in 15 years. Painting the flat deck is a breeze with a good roller. For the bullnose, I've lowered the pool level about 6", then take to the water and use a brush.

    Aqua Rite Power light on, blinks then goes out but Generating light stays on

    I have a similar issue. power light stays lit, but gen light goes off, but it's actually ggenerating. i press on the face of the board and the gen lightcomes on, so it's just a loose connection o thhe led.

    Using solar heater inline with gas heater

    My solar heater feeds directly through my heat pump. There is no worry about overheating. The heat pump works off the discharge water temp of the solar collector. If I want 104 degree water in the Jacuzzi and the solar discharge temp is less than 104, then the heat pump kicks in. Pool Clown...
