I drained over half the water in the pool over the weekend because of high CYA. CYA is now less than 30, probably less than 20 but the test tube only goes to 30. PH is about 7.1 and TA is 70. I checked free chlorine and it was about 2 so I added enough bleach to bring it to 12 ppm Sunday...

So the test for CYA includes pouring "cloudy" water into the tube. Can dirty murky algae ridden water alter the results of this test since it will be cloudy already? This is the worst test because I keep thinking I see the dot. It starts to disappear at 90 and then I THINK it disappears around 60.

Can anybody identify this pump? I need seals and impeller but have no clue what it is. It has 70001 on the housing and 70005 on the front cover.
