I had to put a new liner in my pool (boy was that a project!) I was wondering if I have to shock my pool if it is not green? I know I need to add cya and bleach to bring my chlorine up, but if it is clear I should not have to shock do I? Thanks!

My pool has not been very clear. Everyday there is some algea (dead) on the bottom of the pool that seems to be like dirt. My levels seem to be ok. Do I still need to shock? Here are my levels: FC 3.5 CC 0 PH 7.2 TA 110 CYA 40 Thanks!

My TA has been hovering between 130 and 140 and my PH around 7.5. Do I need to reduce my TA levels? According to the pool calculator, is shows it should be between 70 and 90+, but to lower my TA I need to lower my PH, but that is right on track. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I got tired of trying to fix my Baquacil problems and drained my pool. I am filling it back up with water and want to start using Chlorine. Since I have no Baquacil left in my pool ( there was only about 2" on the bottom) how do I begin Chlorine? My pool is 24' round and 52" deep. Thanks!
