Need some advice and help about DE filter.

Hi, guys. After back washing DE filter yesterday, I noticed that back wash valve cannot be pushed to the bottom, and it's kinda stiff when i tried to twist it. So I pulled out the valve, rinse it off. After putting lubricant on those o-rings, the valve can be push to bottom and easy to twist...

    Aquapure plc1400 - cell and/or tri-sensor

Howdy, fellas. I recently started beeping and receiving 170 error code on my Aquapure SWG. I had my usual pool guy checked, when he unplugged sensor chip from the board, error code is gone and no beep. So he thinks it has something to do with the cell piece. I have a few of questions here. Hope...

Some TFPer here suggested me to raise FC first before adjusting CYA. I wonder if I could adjust CYA and FC at the same time? I plan to add 1qt muriatic acid...

Try to raise TA and CYA, need some advice regarding the order of adding chemicals

based on pool store test(i ordered TF100, but I haven't had it yet), TA: 50ppm CYA: 30ppm pH: 8.0 since adding baking soda would raise pH, i wonder if my order of adding chemical is the best way. 1. adding acid first to drop pH to 7.2~7.4 2. adding baking soda after pH tests As to CYA, i...

Newbie from Tx, I have a few questions about water test and CYA conditioner.

Howdy. I'm totally a rookie for pool maintenance. I feel so grateful that I could find here and learn valuable tips from your guys. I have a fairly large SWG pool with spa in Tx, 32ft x 25 ft x (4.5 ft ~ 8.0 ft), about 24k~25k gallon water. I normally went to local pool stores to have free...
