Hi all. Just purchased a new return jet 1.5" but its a very loose fit in rigid PVC pipe to the point i cant glue it and its also loose fit into the flex pvc pipe i have. two ring clamps tightened down and it still comes out. Am i missing something here? My old one fit way better. Thanks.

Any tricks of the trade for replacing a return outlet without draining the pool? Read about a 'bucket method' - cut a hole in a bucket, put some weather stripping around it and put it over the outlet. Two man job for sure. Any suggestions or input? Thx
