Our pool is leaking from the pipe that comes from the pool light. I was thinking I will plug it with a cord plug where it is leaking (above the ground by the pump). Is there a reason to not do it there and actually plug it down inside the water behind the light? Thanks for your help.

When we uncovered the pool there were some leaves in it due to a tear in the cover. The walls have staining and I have tried holding a chlorine puck to it as well as vitamin C tablets and neither seem to affect it anybody help diagnose this stain? I don't see an option to post pictures?

What if I don't close my pool? What happens with snow and ice? Im in Tulsa and we get both.

Anyone in in Tulsa or a similar climate have advice on closing? I dont have a compressor to blow out the lines.

I have a new pool and the PB gave me a test kit that tests for chlorine, PH, Acid, Alkali demand and TA. Im going to order a CYA test kit but Im wondering, the chlorine its testing for os probably CC not FC right?

What product do you use to raise CYA?

When I told the pool builder ive used bleach for my previous pool he said I wouldnt do that it could cause yellowish stains because of bla bla bla.. Has anyone ever had a negative result with bleach? He said I would use shock, u dont even need to buy it from us, go buy it at sams.

Any recomendations on loungers for the tanning ledge? I saw some called the ledge lounger but i want something flat and adjustable. Like a plastic lounger with no legs. I wonder if I put my metal lounge chair on a towel in the pool if it would be ok?

i have read that gunite needs to cure - some sites say a few days others say a month. Why is there such a broad recommendation??

New build in the Tulsa area. Hope to be complete mid July. The pool is 30 ft long and 15 ft wide arching to 20ft then back to 15ft.
