It was creeping to the ~7.8 range and I added too much acid and now I'm around 6.8. Should I be concerned or should I let it right itself?

Water level. Where should it be?

I imagine that it would be between the tile level. However, at that level my skimmers are completely full. Is this right? I would imagine they would be less effective if the water level in them are too high.

At what point should you resurface your pool?

And what role does this play? Is it just something that improves the overall look of the pool or is there some structural quality associated with a resurface? Is that the gunite showing?

Bought a house w/ pool that has been closed for 2 seasons.

Hello all, Just as the title says. The cover is still on the pool and from what I can see from peaking through it, it's pretty green. I've been getting opinions but am looking for more. Would you try to get it clear chemically or just drain and start over? Thanks, Rich
