We are almost finished with our pool build and I would like to take care of the pool myself. I ordered a TF-100 test kit and am wondering what I should do first? Test my tap water? I am in Dallas TX and we are not doing a salt pool. Thanks in advance.

The Pool is about 500 Sq feet and a trapezoidal shape with Diamond Brite White plaster. I posted a few months back but cannot seem to recover my password so I signed up again. Please take a look and see if anything is missing. I do have a computer generated picture of what the pool should look...
