For 1.5 inch replacement hoses, do you have to get the ones branded for your specific pool? I have a Coleman made by Bestway, but seems like stores only have the Intex 1.5 inch hose in stock right now. Wondering if really they're interchangeable so I could go with the Intex or not. Thanks!

I have an almost brand new Intex hang over the wall skimmer basket, but had to replace the pool this year with a Coleman (made by Bestway) 18x48 which has two openings in the pool wall to suck water into the pump through. The hoses for those two openings are skinnier than the Intex hoses...

Draining the AGP and apparently just in the nick of time, as the bottom and water are going green. Should I stop draining so I can shock again before draining more before I put it away? Keep draining then do "something" once empty before i store it for the winter? Thanks for the advice.
