Just bought a solar cover. Can I run the pool pump while cover is on ?

I dd for 6 hours a day during the winter season.

My pump is running right now with the solar cover on.  In fact it rarely runs without it, this time of year.

Thanks Guys. Can I leave it as a pool cover all winters and run the pump once in a while.
