After years of using suction side cleaners with mixed results (my latest somewhat pricey model gets caught on the steps) I am considering the purchase of a robotic cleaner. I keep seeing horror stories about repair problems, lack of replacement parts, requirement to send off to expensive repair centers for simple repairs, etc. So I wanted to ask, which brand is the most do it yourself repair friendly, and which model would work best in my application with an indoor pool where most of the cleaning needs are for dirt and small debris (bugs, etc).
thanks Ike
p.s. do you have any thoughts on the cheaper robots like the Orion / Orion II, etc
