I have a polaris 360 that come with the house about 1 year ago. It really does not do much now, it keeps getting stuck in one place. I have replaced belts and gears, bearings, bags. It did not really help. I took it to Leslies they said it will cost $384 to fix everything. I have already spent over 100 bucks trying to change what i could.

I am just not ready to buy something else, do any of you guys have any suggestions?? Something that does not break the bank. I have alot of problems with leafs and dirt.

Please tell me what you guys feel is a better buy.

Thanks

For leaves, I suggest the pressure side, for dirt the vacuum side. It's your call. All around I would prefer the vacuum side.

I have a robot so have to clean out lots of leaves manually with a leaf vac:

The robot (and I believe the suction side pool cleaners) don't handle volumes of leaves like the pressure side units. Someone correct me if this is wrong.

Your 360 was more like the pressure side unit. It can bag lots of leaves. The suction side ones will pick up the finer pieces that would pass through the leaf bag of the pressure side units.
