To drain or treat

It's been an unusually warm winter where we are and had caused some extra green/yellow algae to form. What do you all think. Is this worth trying to treat or just drain the pool and start fresh this year

If the cost of chlorine is going to be more than the cost of the water, then it only makes sense to drain and start over.

I agree with Jim, but I have to say it is very satisfying watching the transformation if you do decide to treat!

I mean. If you want inspiration......

That said, draining is always preferable with cheap water and a good path for thousands of gallons to get rid of.
