Bought the house in 2013. Pool was built 10 before we bought in. No idea who built it. None fo the current builders have any record of it.
Deck drain cap has been toast for more than a year. Finally pulled it all up last fall thinking 'how hard would it be to find replacement'? Stupid! Have looked online tons. Been to two of the local pool places, both very reputable, and both have said 'It's Stegmeier' ... except it isn't unless they've changed since 2003.
Mine looked like Stegmeier Frontier, it had the same basic profile, but the cap was more narrow and the material was lighter. I've bought a section of Stegmeier to make sure and it is at least 1/4 inch too wide and too think to fit into the curved side rails. Looking for any suggestions.

Added a photo of the remaining drain. Best I can make out the drain is 2.75 inches from the bottom of the channel to the top of the grey track.

Really hoping I'm not looking at a cut-it-all-out-and-start-over solution.

Should have added I've poured thru the forum and tried the links I could see. No luck but willing to try again.
