PH was low which annoyed me (overshot a little with acid) so I turned a return up to make it splash a little.

Came home to find this! Worst part is all the leaves and junk that was on the cover, is now in the pool!

Oh well.

Kiddo and I brushed all the water and gunk to the skimmer and got it cleaned up. It was kinda dirty from dust settling on it anyway.

It does help to retain heat, though! I've gone from low 50s to 62 yesterday in about a week. I do wish I'd have gotten a blue one, because with the "clear" one I agree the blue ones look better! The replacement will be blue, whenever that is necessary.

Note*
leaving the cover on prevents the ph from increasing somewhat so aside from the jets doing what they did - leave it off for future instances where you’re attempting to increase ph via aeration or naturally letting it rise.
 
Also, the pool brush works great for getting rid of the giant air pockets. Just sweep the air to the nearest side.
