Impeller removal help

I have a 1hp Sta-Rite Max-e-pro motor and I'm replacing it. I need to remove the impeller but it has no lock screw. I assume you just unscrew it by hand but it wont budge. I have a wrench on the opposite side of the motor shaft flats. I've tried strap wrenches but still no luck. Going off of the replacement motor I am assuming it is a normally threaded shaft (righty tight) vs the reverse threaded (lefty tight) ones I have read about on other pumps Any advice? Just get a new impeller and don't worry about damaging it getting it off?

Use a wrench to hold on the back of the motor shaft, 1/2" open? Then use a large channel locks to hold on to unscrew the impeller

If you are sure that there is no screw, you need to use as much force as necessary to unscrew it (Counterclockwise).

Maybe wrap electrical tape around the impeller and then use a large set of ChannelLock pliers to unscrew it.

Got it. I determined there was no screw hiding in there. I wrapped the impeller in tape and used the channel locks but that just slipped a bunch and tore. I didn't want to go directly on the impeller so I slipped some bike inner tubes over the pliers and proceeded carefully and it finally broke free. Thanks for the help.
