No Flow on Hayward Pro Logic…

With the weather being warmer, it’s time to get the SWG going again. Tested and balanced the water. Cleaned the SWG and put everything back together. On the Hayward Pro Logic, it’s telling me “chlorinator off, no flow”. I don’t know how long it has been saying this. Could have been months. I definitely have flow going, so I checked the flow switch. Visually, it looks fine, but it’s a cheap part, so I’m just going to replace it to be sure. I have a couple of questions, though.
  1. The manual says if there’s no flow for 15 minutes, the system will shut off the pump to protect it and the check status light will go off. That hasn’t been happening. The system will remain on for as long as I want it and no check light ever appears. Does anyone know why?
  2. If I replace the flow switch and I’m continuing to get the “chlorinator off, no flow” status, what should my next steps be?
Thanks all.
