Let’s see your water after removing winter cover!! PICS THREAD

The title says it all. For those who close their pools for the winter and open in the spring, I wanna see your water right after you remove the cover and before cleaning, SLAM, etc.! Whether crystal clear or green swamp, let’s see it!
I posted pics of mine. Keep in mind, I closed November 1st and opened March 16th, LOL. My dark liner hides the dirt well, but I fished at least 20 worms out of there

. Somehow my FC was 9 when I opened. Very strange. lol now it’s y’all’s turn. NO CHEATING!!!!!!

PoolMath numbers opening day after running pump for 4 hours or so…

Not too bad!

If you zoom in, you may be able to see some worms and specks of dirt lol

^^^^^ Liner is only on its third season and already fading. Oh well, I don’t like it anyways and want a different design.

Keep this thread going! Whether you open in March, April, May, June, whatever! And again, no cheating!

Gimme a bit and I'm IN !!!!

The only thing stopping me right now is how many weeks I want to deal with Wal-Martians until it's warm enough for the SWG.

It's such a pain. I have to put on fuzzy pajamas, one croc and have a thong hanging out so they think I'm one of them and leave me alone

Northeast PA. Opened this past weekend. After talking, realized we never put Algeacide in at closing in Nov. Collage of opening day, and a day later below!

I pulled the cover back to check the water level and it was crystal clear. I was surprised because it's a mesh cover. I have worms in the deep end. I'd like to pull the cover soon but don't want to be like @Newdude. :mrgreen:

Well, not quite ‘right after cover was removed’, but I didn’t do anything to my pool except test and started draining water due to too high CYA.

Yeah, the PO told me last October, “ stock up on 3” tablets while they are cheaper. We used 60-70 lbs. last year.”

This was taken 5 minutes after pulling the cover.
I will let the water circulate for a day or 2 before running numbers, but I did set the Stenner back to it's schedule for injecting chlorine.

Ok y'alls

Soft open complete.

This week is going to be wet and cool. After next weekend there are alot of 60s in the 45 day and the lows will only be 40s. So I got to bringing out and assembling the pad, then flooded the system and let er rip.

The liner is pretty dirty but overall it's looking great. I'll probably pop the cover next weekend unless the forecast changes as it does.
